Economic Development - Full time staff who will assist businesses with economic and demographic information, finding land and buildings, finding assistance programs and providing liaison with town planners. Downtown Business Improvement Area - Promotes the 250+ businesses located in the Downtown area.
Cobourg Chamber of Commerce - now renamed as the West Northumberland Chamber of Commerce. Provides advocacy, networking and group insurance.

Community Futures Development Corporation - Provides financial support to new businesses in Northumberland. Federally funded.
Spark (Innovation Durham Northumberland) - acts as a consultant to support technology based innovation. Provincially funded. Covers Durham and Northumberland
Northumberland Manufacturers' Association - provides manufacturers with education, networking and advocacy
Business Advisory Centre - supplies information and seminars
