Cobourg Garden Club will host a Summer Flower Show and Tea, on Saturday, 8 August 2026, from 1.30 – 3.30 pm at the Cobourg Library.
Visitors are most welcome to this free event.
Perfectly timed to showcase the best of our gardens at this bountiful time of year.
This Summer Flower Show is a well attended and popular celebration of all things garden related, with classes for annuals, perennials, fruits and vegetables, houseplants, design, and photography. Many of the club’s members enter fine examples in these various categories. Last Summer’s Show had around 150 entries, with about 70 visitors enjoying the displays and the afternoon tea, cold drinks and baked goodies provided by garden club members.
The Design section of the 2026 Show has the theme, Eco-gardening with classes titled Imagination, a design using a recycled container, Water Saving, and Bee Friendly. The Photography classes are similarly themed Water Saving and Pollinating Insects.
