Once again, a survey is being held to collect input from Town residents on the planned 'Draft Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy' In particular, citizens are asked to share stories of forms of discrimination that have been experienced or witnessed. Engage Cobourg has a long explanation of what is planned for the new Policy. You can participate in the survey or a forum.

Northumberland County has completed a final draft of the Northumberland County Forest Mangement Plan to guide the sustainable management of the County Forest over the next twenty years. Residents are invited to join one of two upcoming virtual public information sessions to learn about and provide feedback on the final draft of the Northumberland County Forest Management Plan, developed to help guide the sustainable management of the County Forest over the next 20 years and beyond.

The local health unit wants to hear directly from residents about how COVID-19 has impacted their lives.The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is now conducting a survey in which individuals are being asked to share how COVID-19 has affected their physical, social, mental and financial health. The survey also asks respondents about their actions and attitudes towards pandemic measures, including vaccination, mask use, physical distancing and more.
